mtDNA Sequences at 'GenBank'

'GenBank' is part of the 'National Center for Biotechnology Information' and holds over 9,200 mtDNA sequences submitted by scientists and private individuals

Accessing 'GenBank'

Each mtDNA sequence has an Accession Number and its own GenBank page. To see an example page - Click here

A 'GenBank mtDNA Sequence Checker'

GenBank pages do not show the mutations for the mtDNA sequences. However, you can use my 'Checker' program to see any mutation list.

Use:

'Checker-1' for sequences AF346963-EF692530

'Checker-2' for sequences EU007835-HE576985

'Checker-3' for sequences HM000002-JX999999

'Checker-4' for sequences KC000002-........

'Checker-Behar for sequences JQ701803-JQ706067

'Checker-Li for sequences KF161060-KF163059 and Haplogrouping details
